CONDITION DESCRIPTION: This beautiful, Gold Metallic, 1968 Corgi Chevrolet Camaro SS, Model 338, The HIGH GLOSS paint is stunning, from bumper to bumper and has only a couple small chips that are noticed on the front end, driver’s side door handle and wheel wells. The windshield and rear window of the black top are both shiny and clear with only light scratches. The black top also has a light scratch on its top, but not at all visible while on display. The chrome front bumper has light chrome loss on the ends and a couple fine nicks in the center. The rear bumper only has light chrome loss on the ends. The baseplate is perfect without any chips or scratches noticed. The HIDE- A-WAY, Jeweled headlights sparkle like new. The wheels have a POLISHED LOOK in the center and along the inside rim, (normally a dull silver). All FIRST VERSION, SILVER JACKS WORK SMOOTH AS SILK. All wheels come off and go on easily except the driver’s side, rear wheel that is stuck to the axle; (a common occurrence on these vintage models that sit on display for years and years). The tires are all flexible without any visible dry rot or flat spots.

This SENSATIONAL, 1968 Corgi Chevrolet Camaro SS, Model 338, not only has Glistening Gold paint that shines from across the room but also has the fine details like the life-like, dash, realistic folding seats and door panels, a removable, convertible top, hide-a-way jeweled headlights, first version, Take-Off-Wheels with silver jacks and to top it off, VERY RARE POLISHED WHEELS!  No wonder these vintage, GREAT BRITAIN models are so admired and collected the world over!!  Rare models like this one, are truly as valuable as fine jewelry for the serious diecast model collector!!!
