Sadly it looks like the original Premium ClassiXXs company is no more. It appears that the new owner relocated the company headquarters and ceased production of all original models, which were known for their accurate presentations of prototypes, all major parts made in Die-cast techniques, high-quality and level of details. The company specialized in models of German trucks and vans models. Some tooling/models (including M-B Lo2750) were released under the Schuco Brand name. All new releases under the Premium ClassiXXs are remakes and repack of USSR and some Czechoslovakian vehicle models. These models were designed by Modimio Engineering, produced, and previously sold, by SSM – Start Scale Models (Russia); the only difference in the models are colors and mostly liveries, and the brand name on models undercarriage, but of-cause. While SSM branded models are nicely detailed some of them have an only cab, hood, and frame (latest releases have the plastic frame), they are made in totally different style, not as good in assembly and paint job quality and what is worst it looks like they still noticeable better than their Premium ClassiXXs “siblings”, namely on Russian truck models.
