Dinky Toys No. 924 Aveling-Barford 'Centaur' Dump truck. Another find from the closed toy shop which I purchased in the early 2000s'. The model was never sold and spent lots of time on a shelf. Beautiful brilliant red exterior with a yellow dump body. Slightly age hardened tires fitted to the original red plastic hubs. The interior is white. Dump mechanism works flawlessly. In all a superb example that you will not better.
The original box is in excellent condition as the photos show. Beautiful full color illustrations on both sides. No fading, but a bit of shelf-wear. The original packing piece (hard to find) is also in excellent condition. Included is a small note that no doubt came with the model. As I have sold a few of these, this is the first such note I have seen.
In summary, an excellent opportunity to add a splendid fully original and rare variation to your Dinky or dump truck collection. This model will not disappoint the most fastidious collector.
