Corgi Toys 260 Renault 16 TS

The Renault 16TS was only available for a very short period before it was superceded by the Whizzwheels edition. It is finished in a lovely metallic maroon with a bright yellow interior and shiny chrome. This is a super example with barely a mark anywhere.

The seats operate as they should and the windows are crisp and clear. I doubt this model has been played with much if at all.

There are two versions of this model. This has the silver ring at the base where the hook is attached and 16TS on the base. Earlier editions have a red colour ring and just 16 on the base. Furthermore, the Whizzwheels edition has 16 "TS" on the base! Strange to see so many changes during such a short production period which, of course, means even fewer of each variant exist and so these are much sought after now.
