The Buick Riviera, which was included in the Corgi range in 1964, was produced in the colors gold, metallic blue and light blue. He had a Glidamatic suspension and the innovative "Trans-O-Lite" front and taillights of Corgi, which could be operated independently by each other by keeping the hand over the front or rear window. The rear towing hook was unusual for a Corgi model, which could be attached to a separately available boat with trailer (Corgi 104). The model sold well on both sides of the Atlantic - over 800,000 pieces were produced - and remained in production until 1968. The version is the most sought -after today with wire wheels - in contrast to cast spokes or smooth wheel hubs.
