GREAT MODEL FROM CMC FOR THIS FAMOUS MERCEDES-BENZ, DRIVEN IN THE CARRERA PANAMERICANA IN 1952 TO A SECOND PLACE DRIVEN BY LANG/GRUPP. BEHIND ANOTHER 300SL #4 DRIVEN BY KLING.
The engine displacement of the 300 SL had been increased to 3.1 liters, producing 177 hp.
Long out of production. Maid with high quality heavy diecast. Superb detailed in and out. Opening doors, Hood and trunk. Limited edition to 3000 worldwide. Each comes with Authentic certificate numbered and the booklet. Very rare and hard to find.
