DINKY 158 ROLLS-ROYCE SILVER SHADOW METALLIC RED, ORIGINAL CASE, VINTAGE 1967
Lovely vintage 1967 model with lots of well-engineered detail. Metallic red paint with very little paint loss. Painted orange tail lights and silver front side lights. Clear glazing with period Dinky tax disc accessory sticker. 4 jewelled headlights, metal Rolls Royce grille (missing the Spirit of Ecstasy mascot) and bumpers, steerable front axle, opening front and rear doors (open front doors first) with a white interior, detailed door cards, wound-down windows, a wood-effect dashboard with an opening glove box. The boot opens and the bonnet has a clever front-hinged & tilting mechanism to save scraping the edge of the paint with a detailed metal engine on display. There’s a detailed dark grey baseplate and she rolls on cast hubs with RR emblems and treaded rubber tyres. The suspension is good on all 4 corners.
Silver on black “E†suffix number plates making it a “registered†in 1967 version of this model which was produced between 1967-70.
She comes with her original hard plastic case with a yellow plastic base (one of the pedestals has broken off), printed card cover and clear plastic cover - cracked on two lower corners.
