Up for purchase is this all original and fully working vintage 1968 Corgi Majors 1127 Simon Snorkel Fire engine in its original box with original instructions/Join the Corgi club sheet.
The truck has the following features...Rear boom that can be raised via knob on side.
...Rear boom can further be raised upward via second knob on side.
...Rear boom swivels 360 degrees.
...Side stabilizers (two on each side) that extend and retract to keep the truck from tipping over when rear boom is extended.
...Removable Fireman figure from the rear yellow bucket.
All of these features work. Nothing slips, no gears are stripped, no plastic pieces are broken.
All four side stabilizers work and they lock back in place.
Paint in excellent condition with no major issues.
Rear yellow bucket has the original fireman figure and the original yellow clip that holds him in place.
Spring suspension like new on all four corners with no sagging issues.
All fire men are present in the cab, behind the cab and in the rear yellow bucket.
Tires in excellent shape and the truck rolls along freely.
The box lid has nice color graphics with no graffiti.
No crushing and no creasing.
The inner styrofoam part of box is in excellent complete condition.
There are no holes, no cracks and no pieces of the styrofoam missing or damaged.
Really clean with just some age yellowing.
The instructions/Join the Corgi club sheet is complete with no graffiti.
Still has the original fold lines.
Some minor age yellowing to a few spots on the instructions sheet.
