This Norev model of the 1988 BMW E30 325i is a true jewel for collectors.
In 1:18 scale, this miniature measures approximately 24 cm (9,4 inch) in length and truly stands out in any display case. Norev is known for its attention to detail – making this model a must-have for BMW fans and always a great gift idea.
The 2-door E30 succeeded the first 3 Series BMW, the E21, and was later replaced in the early 90s by the more modern E36.
Unlike the E21, which was only built as a 2-door, the highly successful E30 was also available during its production run as a 4-door sedan, a touring (station wagon), a beautiful convertible, and even as a 2-door Baur TC convertible.

During the E30 era, BMW truly lived up to its name: Bayerische MOTOREN Werke (bavarian engine factory)! Legendary: the silky-smooth running M20 inline-six engines in the 320i and 325i. But also the new six-cylinder diesels – 324d and 324td – as well as the fuel-efficient 2.7-liter 325eta impressed with refinement. Even the more affordable 316i and 318i delivered driving pleasure with their smooth four-cylinder engines. And of course, the BMW M3 held a special place, achieving numerous victories in touring car racing.

Recently some models in resine have been released. This material gives the opportunity of lower lot sizes and therefore allows to get rare originals as models.

scale 1:43 models are usually mounted on a plastic base plate and covered with an acrylic cover (declared as "delivery in acrylic show case"). Models without this declaration are mounted in a more simnple covering box (mostly board box with viewing window; blister box in some cases). 1:24 scale models are regularly mounted on a solid base plate in a board box with viewing window.
1:18 scale models are either mounted on a solid base plate in a board box with viewing window or they come in a protective styrofoam block surrounded by a board box (this kind of packeage does not show the model - it´s just a transport and storage protection - all resin models come in such a package).
