 Â·         * The BMW 2002ti and 2002tii are high-performance variants of the BMW 02 series, with the "ti" standing for "Turismo Internazionale" (Touring International) which was introduced in 1968,  and "tii" meaning "Turismo Internazionale Iniezione" (Touring International Injection), referring to the fuel injection system which was introduced in 1971, using a Kugelfischer mechanical fuel injection system, producing 130 horsepower.
·         "ti" Significance: Before the BMW M division, the "ti" suffix denoted higher-performance models.
·         The 2002 ti offered performance to match cars like the Austin-Healey 3000 MkIII but in a four-seater car with decent boot space.
