Powered by a 3.5-litre V6 twin-turbo engine with a maximum output of over 600hp, the Ford GT race car is back in 2016, exactly 50 years to the day since 1966 when the legendary Ford GT40 machine dominated the podium at the 24 Hours of Le Mans. In this memorable year, it achieved a class victory at Le Mans. Auto Art has modelled each of the four special livery cars for 2019, the last race of the works entry that began in that 2016 year.Car 69 features the livery of Car 1, which finished second in the 1966 podium sweep. The extremely wide and low proportions of the car have been realistically reproduced down to the smallest detail, including the dihedral doors that open upwards, front and rear lids that are removable unlike road cars, fixed rear wing and huge rear diffuser.
