This popular model, known as Corgi's first license product, was created in connection with the television series "Saint" with future James Bond, Roger Moore. The P.1800 model was first published by Corgi in 1961 under number 228. Originally it was either available in red, beige or salmon pink, but was canceled in 1965 to make room for this new version. With a white paintwork that corresponded to the car shown on television, a detailed red interior, the iconic “Saint” logo on the bonnet and a miniature simon templar at the wheel - the figure that Roger Moore played in the series - it was an immediate success. Almost 1,160,000 copies were sold before it was removed from the program in 1970.
